Job Description:
The Specialist Reliability Electrical Engineer will provide technical support to the fixed plant and field execution team by applying Reliability Centred Maintenance principles in driving defect elimination, improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities to support safe and reliable operations.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
* Electrical & Reliability industry experience in fixed plant or Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
* Ability to influence, engage, & communicate with stakeholders effectively across all levels of the business, from frontline employees to senior management.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to finding practical solutions utilising continuous improvement processes.
* Ability to define and manage projects from conception to completion.
* High-level of experience with all Microsoft Office Applications & 1SAP.
* Ability to apply management of change & risk principles.
* Willingness & ability to learn, adapt to change.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate alignment to BHP Charter Values and Our Code of Business Conduct.
2. Demonstrate safety leadership by supporting the Field Leadership program to continuously improve safety performance.
3. Support reliability improvements and the elimination of defects in the end-to-end maintenance system inclusive of defects in parts, procedures, work quality and processes.
4. Analyse performance metrics and benchmark performance across the site and other BHP businesses.
5. Support the development of operating standards, procedures and work instructions (operational and maintenance).
6. Analyse life of equipment to determine equipment capability and optimisation of maintenance activities.
7. Develop and optimise maintenance strategies that enable plant safety, reliability and performance to be maximised.
