We seek an emerging research leader in chemistry with expertise in medicinal chemistry and a commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate learning and teaching.Responsibilities:Lead and develop an independent research program in medicinal chemistry.Establish and maintain strong research links with national and international research groups.Publish original research in highly regarded scientific journals.Teach and mentor undergraduate students in chemical sciences.Engage with the broader chemistry and scientific community by attending conferences and seminars.Minimum Requirements:A PhD in chemistry or a related field.Demonstrated research excellence in medicinal chemistry with a strong publication record.Ability to lead an independent research program and establish meaningful research collaborations.Experience in teaching chemical sciences at the undergraduate level.Evidence of engagement with the broader chemistry and scientific community.Strong organizational, time management, intercultural, and interpersonal skills.Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion within the research and educational environment.The University of Adelaide is committed to diversity and inclusion, welcoming applications from women and non-binary candidates only.
