Job Description As a Health and Safety Business Partner, you will be part of a supportive and skilled team, providing specialist health, safety and wellbeing advice and playing a pivotal role in promoting a safe, healthy, and thriving workplace! Each day will be different as you work with leaders and staff across NSW and QLD to manage various safety challenges—whether it's supporting journalists in their day-to-day news reporting or dealing with coverage of emergencies such as floods and bushfires. Day to day, you will: Help deliver on the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) strategy, including driving and contributing to project/initiative work. Partner with leaders to integrate health and safety into daily operations. Partner with and guide managers and employees through end-to-end health and safety management of their site and business unit/s. Design and implement fit for purpose controls for unique safety challenges. Provide advice and support to leaders on HSW matters. Enable teams to manage risks and prioritise wellbeing proactively. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the safety management system. Identify, assess and respond to health and safety risks in the workplace. Drive best practices to maintain a safe workplace in line with Nine's objectives. Qualifications We are looking for someone passionate about helping others and with a strong knowledge of health, safety, and wellbeing practices in big organisations. What we would like to see: Knowledge and experience in health, safety, and wellbeing, especially in large organisations with complex needs. Experience delivering results on time and within budget. Confidence in advising and guiding others on complex health and safety matters. Experience creating and running training sessions on health, safety, and wellbeing topics.
