You will lead a small team of Procurement Analysts & Buyers and will be responsible for maintaining the Stores and Warehouse material establishment.The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for Procurement Process, Procedures & Compliance as well as ensuring correct Resource Management including establishment of two resources to the Project Management Office for Project material management requirements.Annual Salary AUD from $83,287 - $104,109 + Superannuation + Relocation assistance available to qualified and successful candidate if applicable.Description / TasksEffectively managing a procurement team for aircraft maintenance projects with MRO facilityProactively assist the engineering teams with managing projects from the initiation to Return to ServiceEnsure ordering of parts and materials is conducted in compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and CASA, FAA, EASA and other agency Regulatory requirementsSupervise inventory procurement including but not limited to:Monitoring stock levels in accordance with Company Policy and ProceduresPurchase Orders for materials for purchase, sale and repair (If parts are uncommon to seek an alternative part number using available facility resources as required)Management of company surplus and customer inventoryMaterial ordering to Company Policy and Procedures with correct timeframes to meet Project deadlines.Maintain appropriate inventory levels within Cairns Base Operations Warehouse & Stores for the Line & Heavy Maintenance Projects and Avionics Workshops requirementsProvide pricing of materials and logistics to support timely submission of Additional Service Requests (ASR), Customer quotesFundamental support to all in-house and incoming maintenance checks to meet commercial revenueManage all stakeholder meetings and distribute to wider teamManage documentation through the Company ERP system including but not limited to:Raising of repair orders and tracking for sub-contract repairs and dispatch of items in accordance with regulatory requirements to minimise repair turnaround timesWhen required, enter delivery dockets and Invoices to match with stock provided by suppliersWhen required, allocate incoming stock to relevant Project or Stock LocationsRegularly oversight / track stock levels to ensure budgetary control & MIN / MAX quantities are established & maintainedMaintain accurate records for parts and materials held in or distributed by the Cairns Base OperationAccountable for daily feedback to the SCM and Maintenance Supervisors including Avionics Workshops on delivery timelines for parts on orderDevelop, maintain & distribute Material Shortage Lists applicable to each ProjectSupport Cairns Base Operations teams with procurement related issuesProvide input into Customer queries and complaints as required to enable Managers or Supervisors to respond to Customers in agreed timelinesEnsure Aviation Products are procured in compliance with the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations for items to be utilised on VH registered aircraft or equivalent NAA regulations for items to be utilised on foreign registered aircraft.Provide input on responses to audit findings of internal and external audits to support the Cairns Base Management team on remedial actions against audit findings including Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) requirements.Regular audits of Procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of dataProvide input into the development and revisions of Company Procedures which enables Managers and Supervisors to continuously improve Company Policy & Procedure documentsActively participate, comply and promote Jet Aviation WHS, Environmental programs and the Aviation Safety Management Systems.Qualification / ExperienceMinimum 4 years’ experience in management of Technical Logistics including Procurement or equivalent work experienceExperience working in an aviation Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO)Knowledge of Aircraft Materials Suppliers with an established network would be an advantage.Experience in a Customer Focused Work environmentPeople Leadership Skills in an Aircraft Maintenance or Logistics environmentComputer Literate in Microsoft Products & Jet Aviation IT Applications as requiredAccounting skills for purchasing and credit card reconcile.Effective communication including excellent computer, written and verbal skills.Ability to work independently to achieve outcomes.If you are interested in a multicultural, challenging and innovative working environment and your profile matches our requirements, we are looking forward to receiving your online application (cover letter, CV).
