Responsibilities include:
1. Forming strategic partnerships with schools, allied health professionals and families
2. Identify, assess and implement physiotherapy services relevant to the education setting
3. Providing a consultative service to student's teachers, parents and wider team members
4. Participate in specialised projects and share practices and resources with other physiotherapists within the department
5. Travel is a requirement of the role and varies depending on base locations
6. Build your knowledge of the physiotherapist role in supporting paediatric disability
7. Establish educational relevant goals with the student and their team
8. Develop and deliver innovative evidence based models of service delivery
9. Provide professional development to teachers and teacher aides
10. Contribute to regional and statewide physiotherapy teams
