Job DescriptionAssist the Night Manager/Night Supervisor with the night audit processConduct Night Auditor duties whilst on shift with the Night ManagerPerform routine maintenance checks on the network and system audit controlsEnsure that staff on duty are well groomed and promote morale through encouragement of teamwork and a positive attitudeInvestigate security breaches, completing relevant forms and advising relevant authorities using the correct legal processHandle disruptive guests and ensure their discreet removal from the property if neededResponsible for all other departments in the absence of their respective managers for the duration of the night time operationEnforce policies and procedures in order to achieve superior levels of serviceAttend and conduct monthly operation meetings to review, monitor and upgrade the performance of the department through dissemination of information, explaining new directions, policies and procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training initiativesEnsure that all specified diaries and reports are maintained in an accurate and up to date mannerHandle all complaints promptly and efficiently, ensuring follow up to determine the source of the complaint and resolution of the problemBe available at all times for guest queriesEnsure the hotel is operating efficiently and according to hotel policyEnsure all staff are on duty and in proper uniform.
