See yourself in our team Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control, reporting and planning services to the Technology division. We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their cost base and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans. Our mission is to "influence strategic outcomes through transparent insights and passionate people". Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team (approximately 90 people) and provides financial management, planning and controls to Group and Business Unit CIOs. Your team's primary role is to: Provide decision support for Technology's strategic initiatives, including advice on capitalisation of investments Provide accurate forecasting, effective management reporting and financial control for strategic investments Deliver meaningful insights to drive better business outcomes, including cost optimisation and process simplification Your role is to support the EGM and GM of Technology Finance, the Technology Leadership Team and Group Finance within CBA in making efficient decisions. To deliver on outcomes, you will have effective relationships across the broader Technology Finance team, as well as Group Finance and the Group Accounting Policy teams. Do work that matters Lead the team to deliver Portfolio reporting, providing analysis on financials and forecasts, and raising issues to the Technology division, Tech Finance LT & Group Finance Assess investment and operational opportunities through the provision of financial advice, modelling and insight Provide subject matter expertise for the Technology portfolio's capitalisation, including detailed capex forecasting Assist the business to optimise their project performance and forecasting, including continuous improvement initiatives Identify and escalate issues and ensure appropriate risk management and financial control practices are in place Create a strong team culture, and build and maintain productive relationships with Finance and Non-Finance stakeholders Drive productivity and process improvements across the team's processes We're interested in hearing from people leaders who possess: Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis Stakeholder management skills with proven experience in advising and influencing senior stakeholders and business outcomes Strong team leadership skills with ability to develop team members and a high performing team Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills If this sounds interesting to you, apply now!
