About the Role: As a Key Account Manager Healthcare, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and enhancing profitability with our key accounts. Your role will involve growing relationships, acquiring new customers, creating business opportunities, and renewing key contracts. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless product supply chain support and alignment with business objectives. We are looking for someone proficient with data analysis, including handling pricing sheets and profit & loss (P&L) statements. The ideal candidate should be able to navigate complex systems and anomalies, contributing strategic value beyond just basic analysis. While an industry background in medical or aged care is advantageous, it is not essential. More important is the ability to handle commercial analysis and contract management, and to maximize relationships in the healthcare sector, with a focus on maintaining strong relationships. This role can be located in either Melbourne from our Springvale Head office site or from Sydney. If this is you, we'd love to talk. What You Will Do: Develop, implement, and monitor customer-specific sales processes and account plans. Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities using data-driven insights. Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in Sales and Service Cloud. Engage key stakeholders to ensure product supply chain support and business alignment. Collaborate with National Key Account Manager Healthcare, Regional Sales Managers, and territory Account Managers. Attend customer-facing events to build relationships and drive sales momentum. Analyze customer information to manage business risks and opportunities. Generate and distribute market development and competitor activity insights. Lead contract negotiations and prepare joint customer business reviews. Resolve key account issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Recommend products and services that align with client needs. Apply in-depth product knowledge to deliver effective solutions. Maintain long-term customer relationships and pursue sales opportunities. Assess and address education and training needs for customers. Review opportunities for upgrading customers to higher margin products. Collaborate with local distribution partners and re-evaluate customer segmentation annually. Who You Are: You bring extensive experience in account management, sales, or related fields, with a focus on B2B sales in the healthcare industry being advantageous but not essential. You also possess: The ability to research, identify, and develop customer insights within the Residential Aged Care and Homecare markets. Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of customer profitability. A proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving sales effectiveness initiatives. Professional presentation skills, both verbal and written. A current driver's licence and access to a car and influenza vaccination certificate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Strong analytical and systems skills. The ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the business. Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in English.
