ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently looking for a full time Registered Nurse to join our team based at the Peel Health Campus in Mandurah, you will be expected to provide the highest standard of service to our patients and Radiologists.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
The Medical Imaging Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
* Provide a high standard of care and service to our patients and radiologists
* Ensure Workplace Health and Safety practices are understood and observed at all times in the workplace.
* Assist our team of medical professionals in all aspects of patient care.
* Admission and preparation of patients undergoing examinations such as Ultrasound, CT and MRI, including IV Cannulation.
* Ability to assist with cardiac stress testing and high end CT procedure such as epidural injections.
* Sound knowledge and application for post procedure care, recovery and discharge.
* Sound clinical knowledge and experience in the area of Palliative Care.
* Assistance in the performance of Medical Imaging procedures.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
* Registered Nurse with current APHRA Registration.
* 5 years experience
* IV Cannulation qualification.
* Advanced Life Support qualification preferred but not essential.
* Previous surgical or radiology experience would be beneficial.
* Flexibility for overtime if required.
* Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
* Effective problem solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to liaise with a diverse range of medical professionals
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently.
* Excellent personal presentation
