- Casual position with opportunity to negotiate work arrangements- Position to commence early February 2025Skillinvest & Longerenong College is a not-for-profit Group Training & Registered Training Organisation delivering training in many Industry sectors.Longerenong College is seeking a Trainer and Assessor to join our team to deliver training and assessment to a range of cohorts, including but not limited to: classroom-based, trainees and VDSS students. The trainer will be required to have industry expertise in one or more of the following areas: agronomy, livestock, wool classing and farm skills.Key Responsibilities of this position will include:Deliver high quality training to studentsPrepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with Skillinvest & Longerenong College RTO policies and proceduresAdjust/develop flexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students with barriers to learning e.g., low literacy levels or disabilitiesMaintain currency of knowledge in relevant training packages and vocational industryBe able to work and contribute to part of a team and autonomously as requiredDevelop strong relationships with students, staff, schools and other stakeholdersThe successful Applicant must have:Minimum of 5 years experience in agricultural industryTAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)Current Employee Working with Children Check and Police CheckYou must have a strong customer focus and a willingness to work as part of a team.
