Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout Us: The Toowoomba Hospital Foundation supports local health services by providing funds for life-saving equipment and resources, staff development, research, and scholarships across the Darling Downs Health region.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Manager to oversee all activities of Wellbean Co, including cafes, catering services, vending operations, retail outlets, and other social enterprises within the organization. Reporting to the CEO, the Commercial Manager will ensure operational efficiency, achieve financial targets, and enhance the overall experience of Wellbean Co customers and patrons of our social enterprises.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategies to ensure sustainable growth and financial stability.Monitor budgets, analyze financial data, and provide insights to optimize revenue streams and cost efficiencies.Implement and maintain robust systems, processes, and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.Develop promotional activities and programs in consultation with the Marketing Team to meet revenue performance targets.Foster positive relationships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders to enhance community engagement and support the foundation's mission.Comply with relevant legislation, standards, company policies, and procedures, including Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.Skills and Experience:Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software programs (e.g., POS).Proven experience in a managerial role within the Food and Beverage and/or retail industry.A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.Behavioural Attributes:Self-disciplined and able to work with minimal supervision.Strong team player with a commitment to collaborative working approaches.Honest, ethical, and adaptable.A passion for providing first-class services to stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail and a professional approach to work.How to Apply: If you are passionate about making a difference in the community and have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
