The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is a leading provider of hospital and health services over 337,626 square kilometres in South Australia.
We are responsible for planning and delivering services across the Eyre Peninsula, western part of South Australia, and north to Coober Pedy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general reception duties, including answering calls, taking messages, and managing patient enquiries.
* Coordinate inpatient and outpatient appointments and assist with hospital transfers.
* Manage medical records, including admissions, discharges, and filing.
* Support nursing staff with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, compiling reports, and managing patient information systems.
* Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements for staff as needed.
* Help maintain a high standard of service by problem-solving and prioritising tasks effectively.
What We're Looking For:

* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access), with a working knowledge of video conferencing.
* A commitment to confidentiality and maintaining professional standards.
* Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
* Knowledge of contemporary healthcare settings and relevant legislation.
