Job Description
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and inspire a skilled maintenance team to ensure facility safety and operational excellence. This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, directly impacting safety, efficiency, and the overall reputation of our organization.
In this role, you will:
* Lead and inspire a team of Maintenance Officers, workers, and volunteers.
* Oversee contractors to ensure high standards of service and safety.
* Perform hands-on maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, groundskeeping, and preventative upkeep.
* Manage compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a culture of zero harm.
* Coordinate resources and schedules to maintain seamless operations.
About You
The ideal Maintenance Supervisor is reliable, proactive, and accountable, leading with integrity and respect. They foster positive relationships through empathy, patience, and effective conflict resolution while creating a supportive team environment.
To be suitable for the position, you should have:
* A trade qualification.
* A minimum of two years' experience in a maintenance or handyman role.
* Proven leadership experience.
* Strong organisational skills.
* The ability to use computerised management systems.
Possess or willingness to obtain: A current drivers licence, A national Police Certificate, Influenza vaccinations
