You will play a key role in building and managing a portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships, and developing new business opportunities. With a portion of leads referred from internal relationship managers, you will work closely with a supportive and collaborative team to offer tailored insurance solutions that provide peace of mind to our clients.Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a portfolio of client accounts, focusing on relationship building and retention.Attract and convert new business clients through proactive engagement and client outreach.Advise clients on insurable risks, design tailored insurance solutions, and work with insurers to secure the best placements.Negotiate renewals and manage client policy renewals efficiently.Stay informed on claims-related matters, collaborating with the broker support team to negotiate equitable claims settlements.Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers, aiming to maximise account profitability and secure ongoing client relationships. About You: 3-5 years of experience in business development or account management in insurance broking or underwriting, ideally with a focus on commercial insurance.Strong technical knowledge of general insurance products and market trends.Tier 1 Insurance Broking and/or Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) preferred.Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with a focus on client-centric outcomes.Proven ability in account management, adept at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
