Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for an ENG Camera Operator B to join our highly successful NBN News team in Tamworth.
As part of NSW's number one rated news service, you'll contribute to delivering a one-hour news bulletin to our loyal viewers seven days a week.
We're looking for a driven, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to enhance our News division.This full-time position operates on a 7-day roster, requiring weekend work and overtime as needed, and reports directly to the Chief Camera Operator.
QualificationsWhat we would like to see: Knowledge and use of broadcast cameras and lighting, as well as editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.Familiar with live cross procedures and the operation of live Dejero units.Experienced in the news industry, particularly in working on live news bulletins.Strong communication skills, including storytelling and writing.Detail-oriented with a focus on timeliness and effective task planning to meet deadlines.Ability to anticipate potential roadblocks and accurately assess the length and complexity of tasks/projects.Demonstrated flexibility when required.Engages actively and productively with peers, supervisors, colleagues, and the public.Skills to achieve positive, measurable outcomes aligned with departmental and organisational objectives.Proactive in sharing positive information, discussing solutions, and raising ideas.Committed to supporting, developing, and maintaining an effective local team.An unrestricted driver's licence is essential.Additional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: We're committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive Nine.
