Our Home Care Cleaning Staff service the Independent Living Units located within our Retirement Village to support our community maintain independence. Home Care Cleaning Staff play a strong role in delivering customer service through creating a safe, hygienic environment for clients and deliver the luxury aspect through their cleaning services.In this role, you will be responsible for:Provide cleaning services according to established cleaning service requests.Ensure appropriate mopping and vacuuming of floors, damp dusting, waste management, restocking of supplies.Maintain records of completion of laundry and cleaning schedule duties.Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning agents, including use of correct quantities for each task.Participate in established infection control program.Contribute to a safe environment when undertaking duties ensuring equipment is not hazardous.Report any hazardous/malfunctioning equipment immediately to management.Always asks clients about their preferences for care and service delivery.Works as a team member and provides a supportive environment for all employees.Comply with all The Shoreline Community Care Policies, Procedures and Customer Service Principles.Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients to ensure effective consultation and feedback on service.Deliver services in line with privacy legislation and in keeping with the client’s preferences.Interact with clients in a kind, caring and respectful manner.Respect and support client’s diversity (such as gender, identity and culture) and take steps to make sure all clients feel included in service delivery planning and delivery.Support all clients to make informed choices about their services by providing information (within the scope of the role) or by seeking assistance from other sources.About Us:The Shoreline is the newest luxury aged care facility and Retirement Village on the Mid North Coast of NSW. The Shoreline Community Care division is an extension on the luxury service we deliver to all within our community and aims to support the continued independence of those within it.About You:Our successful Community Care Cleaning Staff will thrive on interacting with people from all walks of life, in particular the elderly. You will possess a willingness to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues and demonstrate a "Can do" approach to all aspects of your role. Good communication skills are essential as is the ability to work independently and contribute collaboratively to the developing team. Ability to use technology confidently is an essential component of the role due to the remote work environment.
