Community College Northern Inland (CCNI) is a Not For Profit, approved VET provider, providing skills and training opportunities from seven campuses across the New England/North West region. We pride ourselves on being innovative and relevant to the training needs of our regional and remote communities and work with businesses large and small to create training opportunities to meet their staffing needs in areas of Foundation Skills, Community Services, Business, and Industry.
We are seeking expressions of interest for casual trainers for Foundation Skills and Business from throughout the Northern Inland region to join our dedicated team who are passionate about helping young learners with disabilities or who are vocationally disadvantaged to achieve their learning goals and seek meaningful employment within their communities.
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will:
Plan and prepare training sessions for delivery, allowing for differentiation for students that may require it.
Mark and conduct student assessments and monitor learning outcomes.
Conduct support sessions with students and regularly mentor the student cohort to provide support and build a supportive learning environment.
Help to build learning capacity through support and training of young people and lessen the substantial barriers to employment, empowering students to engage in meaningful participation.
Plan, review, and improve training and assessment materials, including participating in assessment validation.
Implement training strategies that provide positive outcomes for disadvantaged groups and promote access and equity.
Have an interest in or experience working with disadvantaged learners.
This position will be casual, dependent upon demand.
Essential Criteria:
TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment + TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy, and numeracy skills + TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools.
Relevant qualifications or significant experience in the competencies being assessed.
Commitment to maintaining professional currency.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
National Police Check.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current Driver's Licence and full comprehensive insurance.
