This role is based in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone, at the site of the largest wind farm in NSW, located in Wellington.As a successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following:Manage inductions & onboarding process for new internal staff, including safety communications and toolbox talksProvide employee training on compliance related topics, policies and proceduresImplement, maintain & update project specific safety plans and SWMS for high risk or value jobsLiaise with regulatory authorities on matters of safety regulation and complianceRespond to incidents & emergencies, including investigations, reporting & escalationConduct risk assessments, onsite inspections, and audits, investigating any incidents to ensure prompt resolutionEstablish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators for safety objectives throughout the project lifecycleDevelop, review, and support construction safety management plans and risk assessmentsEngage with internal and external stakeholders to drive a positive safety culture, through existing inhouse programs, with a strong focus on human performance principlesWhat do you bring?In addition to the above, we require an individual with:Minimum 5 years’ + demonstrated industry experience within the civil & road construction, bulk earthworks, renewables, and or concrete structures.Tertiary qualifications in WHS, Safety Sciences, or equivalent.Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirableFormal qualifications in auditing and investigationsKnowledge and interpretation of relevant Acts, Regulations, Australian Standards and Codes of Practice.Proficiency in safety management software, including SharePoint and Excel.Willingness to work on a fly-in / fly-out basis with an industry-standard work cycle on a DIDO or FIFO on a 21 : 7 roster (3 weeks on 1 week off)What’s in it for you?In return, we offer the opportunity to work on a landmark project within a dynamic and growing team.Generous Employee Referral Program: Refer talent and earn a bonusDiscounts Program: Access everyday savings at over 400 retailers.Career Growth Opportunities: Our dynamic industry offers endless possibilities for professional development and advancement.
