About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Corporate Communications Officer to join our dynamic team.
In this exciting role, you'll be instrumental in shaping and delivering clear, compelling messages that resonate with both internal and external audiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Creation: Develop and write compelling content for internal and external communications channels, including employee newsletters, websites, and annual reports.
* Social Media Management: Support the corporate social media strategy, creating engaging content and posts, monitoring social media channels, and engaging with our audience to enhance our online presence.
* Media Management: Assist in managing media enquiries and requests for interviews, drafting press releases to ensure positive media coverage for our programs and initiatives.
* Internal Communications: Maintain and enhance internal communications, ensuring employees are informed about corporate updates, initiatives, and policies.
* Award Nominations: Identify opportunities and write submissions for industry awards that recognize our contributions to the wellbeing of regional Queensland.
* Campaign Support: Assist with the development and delivery of communication campaigns to support organisational priorities.
* Surveys: Coordinate quarterly consumer surveys and ad hoc internal surveys, including the collation of results and data.
* Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and promote corporate events, ensuring these events align with our purpose and goals.
About You
To be considered for this rewarding role, you will have:
* An understanding of mental health, NDIS or community services sector.
* Experience in creating content for various platforms, including print, digital, and social media.
* The ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Excellent written and social media skills.
* Demonstrated experience in event planning, coordination, and delivery.
Role Requirements
* A degree in communications, public relations, marketing, event management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Mailchimp or similar software.
* Some travel to selectability sites may be required from time to time.
