The Library is primarily responsible for providing information resources and services to the academic community in support of learning, teaching and research. The Library provides a friendly, engaging and professional service, focused collections, training and assistance in the location and use of information resources and an environment conducive to study.The Learning & Teaching team provide information literacy training and support in the use of information resources and bibliographic software, support academic colleagues in creating online reading lists, and promote Library services to the university and broader community.Your New Role!You will participate as part of a team in the design, delivery, and evaluation of information literacy services, outreach and promotion of support for teaching and learning. You will provide advice and guidance on access to and use of Library content, resources and services to meet the needs of students, learners and staff using different modes.Your key responsibilities will include:Support enquiry services: answer all queries on copyright, referencing and Endnote using the latest technologies.Design and deliver services: create and evaluate online materials to aid academic staff and students.Developing and delivering information literacy training through workshops and consultations in consultation with relevant library teams.Promote library services: engage in events like orientation, open days, and Guild activities to promote library resources.Manage reading lists: raise awareness and handle complex queries about the online reading list system.Collaborate with colleagues: work with library and university staff to identify learning support and collection needs.What We Offer You!We have two Continuous | Part Time (18.75 hours per week & 33.75 hours per week) positions attracting a remuneration of $77,000 - $94,000 (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.You’ll join a dynamic and talented team where diversity and innovation thrive.
