Council's Community Care Branch is recruiting for the position of Program Officer – Youth.About the OpportunityWe're looking for an energetic Programs Officer to implement and enhance our Youth Services programs! In this role, you'll work to strengthen community through a range of innovative and diverse programs aimed at young people aged 12-24, build strong relationships with key stakeholders and promote a positive image of our Youth Engagement Services.The Programs Officer will support the implementation of the Council's Youth Engagement Strategy.You'll facilitate young people's active participation in Council's Youth Committees and connect with young people through engaging social media and promotion of activities, events and programs. Development, delivery and evaluation of programs will be part of your responsibilities, as will youth co-design to amplify the voice of young people and celebrate their contribution to community.You'll plan and implement youth programs, activities and events while ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, funding requirements and Council policies.
