At New Horizons, we are passionate about creating a unified organisation where our teams work seamlessly together to deliver exceptional outcomes.The OpportunityThe Clinical Lead is primarily responsible for providing clinical oversight and leadership to a multidisciplinary workforce so they can provide safe, high-quality care to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality customer care.Collaborate with customers, families, and service providers to assess needs and link customers to appropriate services.Provide clinical input and oversee decision-making to ensure realistic, evidence-based, and respectful support.Monitor customer and stakeholder satisfaction and evaluate outcomes against needs and expectations.Facilitate regular intake and review meetings.Support a small caseload of customers as needed.Maintain accurate records of interactions, services, and outcomes in line with policies.Ensure team record-keeping is high-quality and compliant.Complete internal and external reporting obligations.Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, including child protection and mandatory reporting.Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.Participate in supervision and professional development activities.Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support policy development.Assist in achieving and maintaining certifications and accreditations.Provide clinical supervision to staff.Lead a multidisciplinary team committed to organisational values and care models.SELECTION CRITERIAEssentialTertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other allied health disciplines; and eligibility for membership of an appropriate professional body; and eligibility to register with Medicare Australia as an MBS Primary Care provider or an Allied Mental Health Professional provider.Minimum of 5 years post-qualifying practice experience in the implementation of person-centred care within a disability and/or mental health care setting.Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership, mentoring and coaching with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision.Experience in direct service provision to young people.Experience providing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.Demonstrated experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of people.Why work with New Horizons?Salary Packaging up to $15,900 per annumEntertainment Allowance offered (up to $2650 per annum)Monthly Rostered Days off (RDOs)Fitness passportClinical supervision and peer supportCareer and development opportunitiesFree access to our Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental LeavePre-employment Checks include but are not limited to:National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker CheckNational Police Background CheckWorking with Children CheckCurrent unrestricted drivers’ licenseHow to ApplyIf you can see yourself in this rewarding role, please apply online today.
