Our iconic hotel boasts 324 luxurious rooms with stunning waterfront and mountain views, alongside 13 versatile conference spaces, making it a prime destination for both business and leisure travelers.In this role, you'll lead the Engineering team, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the high standards that provide exceptional experiences for both guests and team members.Job DescriptionAs Director of Engineering, you will oversee all aspects of building maintenance, from planned preventive measures to emergency repairs, ensuring our property remains in pristine condition. Your expertise will guide the effective management of outsourced services, adherence to contracts, and sustainability programs. You'll also manage utility consumption, enhance energy and water efficiency, and maintain compliance with Australian Standards and safety regulations. Your leadership will ensure our hotel's assets are optimized, and external areas are maintained to our high brand standards.Financial acumen is key as you assist in controlling expenditure and managing CAPEX projects. Your strategic oversight will be crucial in selecting suppliers, tracking project completion, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
