We are seeking a qualified nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents in our residential aged care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering direct clinical nursing care, acting as team leader, and working in a safe manner.
About the Role
* Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
* Acting as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
* Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
* Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
* Strong coaching/training skills.
* Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Competent IT skills.
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
