Job SummaryThis position is an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to the bioinformatics program with Cancer Immunotherapy at The University of Western Australia.About the RoleAs a key member of the Cancer Immunotherapy Unit, you will conduct various computational and bioinformatic analyses across several cancer immunology-focused research projects.Your expertise in deciphering complex immunological patterns in data will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of cancer immunology.You will collaborate with fellow researchers at the Cancer Immunotherapy Unit and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to achieve shared goals.About YouYou must have a PhD in a relevant quantitative scientific field such as bioinformatics, physics, statistics, computer science or mathematics.A strong academic record and advanced skills in a scripting programming language such as R or Python are required.Experience with transcriptomics, single cell or spatial data analysis, and analysis pipeline development is highly desirable.The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.
