Competitive executive level position leading a team of subject matter experts who are actively changing the cyber landscape of the Department Term opportunity up to 30 June 2027 Total remuneration range: $239,483 to $263,586 commensurate with experience About the role Do you have a passion for working with others to drive positive change and outlook on technology and digital security? We are looking for someone to deliver a significant cyber security program that will remediate current risks and prepare the Department to operate and navigate the future. This program will uphold transparency and deliver value across the NSW Government sector, and you will be a hands-on leader who wants to drive continuous improvement and share you love and passion about this space. You will lead and manage a team of specialist and generalist staff to develop and deliver world class security platforms and capabilities that proactively protect and defend our organisation, divisions and the whole of government shared ICT Service GovConnect from cyber-attacks. This role is temporary and will lead the implementation and delivery of capital programs of works under the Cyber Security Strategy over a three-year period until 30 June 2027. About you You will have a strong technology and cyber security background and bring a wealth of experience in security platforms and capabilities to ensure that the appropriate security technologies, control mechanisms, policies and compliance frameworks aligned to recognised standards are in place to protect the department and whole of Government ICT GovConnect systems and information.
