Join us in shaping the future of aviation as we propel Melbourne Airport towards becoming Australia's favourite Airport destination.Key responsibilities:Develop and implement the community engagement strategy for the NAP.Coordinate consultation efforts with councils, communities, and government departments.Lead property owner engagement, ensuring timely, accurate responses and robust reporting.Create accessible engagement toolkits, including multilingual resources, program details, and complaint mechanisms.Prepare and deliver updates to stakeholders, including local councils and committees.Support senior leaders in managing responses from residents and public dwellings.Collaborate with the project team to ensure alignment of engagement activities with the broader third runway program goals.The successful candidate will have:Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field (IAP2 Certificate of Engagement desired).Strong background in a similar role, ideally in infrastructure, transport, energy, or related sectors.Experience in project managing community engagement plans and dealing with sensitive circumstances.Knowledge of government and community participation processes.We understand that not everyone will feel they meet all of these 100%.
