Undertake servicing and preventative maintenance of all machinery, plant and equipment.
Assist other trades in the form of general repair maintenance or installation of machinery.
Diagnose functioning equipment using test equipment and tools to locate the cause of the fault.
Inspect plant, equipment and machinery to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance codes are adhered to.
Provide advice and guidance to the business on whether machinery is fit for use.
Attend to and contribute towards operational and team meetings.
Complete research and requests for parts replacement and ordering for factory machinery.
What do you need? Mechanical Trade Qualification, with a minimum of 3 years trade maintenance experience.
Proven experience working with packaging, automation, labelling and refrigeration machines and equipment.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and extensive experience in fault finding would be an advantage.
Must have experience in high pressure on demand production environment ideally within a FMCG Manufacturing Environment.
