We are committed to designing, creating, and supplying the highest quality, beautiful and sustainable floor coverings.About the Role In this role you will report to the Chief Operations Officer and lead a team of Engineers, Supervisors and Trade Professionals. This role is based full time onsite at our South Geelong Manufacturing Facility, with occasional travel to our other facilities.Your key responsibilities include:Leading and supervising the engineering, manufacturing maintenance and facilities maintenance functions across multiple Australian based operational facilities.Mentoring and professional supervision of Graduate Mechanical & Process Engineers within the engineering team.Overseeing the execution of the annual capital expenditure plan related to plant, equipment and facilities.Managing technical personnel and project managers.Developing and managing the repair & maintenance budgets across the businesses operational departments.Implementing safety and process improvement strategies, policies and procedures with the engineering and maintenance teams.Identifying cost reduction opportunities, efficiency improvements and emissions reduction through equipment and facilities upgrades.Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.Managing the implementation of reliability strategies and overseeing the execution of major maintenance shutdowns.Collaborating with manufacturing leadership teams to assess the feasibility of new processes and technologies.Overseeing the tendering, implementation and ongoing management of maintenance and engineering contracts.Provide support and mentorship to engineering team members, facilitating training needs and opportunities.What's in it for you?
