The Role: Cognizant is seeking ServiceNow professionals that are experienced in development and implementing ServiceNow solutions. You can enable anyone in our client environment to implement, extend or build custom business applications. You are happy to integrate ServiceNow and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion.
In your first few weeks in this Solution Architect role, you can expect to:
Lead and mentor other developers (business information application software technology) to ensure the highest standard of technical quality.Fulfill technical designing, creating, documenting, and communicating the integration approach of all components of the architecture.Research, analyze, determine capabilities, and propose solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across Businesses Lines.Educate clients and negotiate the right technical solutions.Deliver a positive and value-add experience to clients in every interaction.Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, designing tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.Ensure each artifact produced, each configured technical component, and all personal interactions are of the highest quality.Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a program.Build teams that can execute.Provide technical coaching and oversight to other developers/architects.Define domain-specific evaluation processes for hiring that fit market needs.Conduct interviews to screen and identify the best candidates.Periodic evaluation of team capabilities.Define emerging skill sets that the team needs and identify training needs.Align resource requirements based on demand projections.Record resource training and development plans in partnership with HR.To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
5+ years of relevant ServiceNow experience.Advanced knowledge of leading architecture solutions in the industry area.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Ability to demonstrate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.ServiceNow - Certified System Administrator (minimum) - required.ServiceNow – Certified Implementation Specialist – any and all modules - required.You'll receive an excellent salary and benefits package for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
