The role:
As a Casual Harvest Backhoe Operator you will be required to operate a variety of machinery to harvest our product while focussing on the safety of your team, the prawns and yourself. This could involve you operating a variety of site machinery including backhoes, excavators, skid steers, moxies, graders, tractors and trucks.
Responsibilities:
* Skillfully operate machinery to safely extract and transport prawns from our aquaculture ponds to our processing facilities.
* Deliver high quality work while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
* Deliver civil works needs as required when harvest timing allows. This could include: waste pile removal, roadworks, firebreaks, groundskeeping, seaweed harvesting, truck driving, or any other relevant works.
Role requirements:
* A backhoe or excavator licence is essential in this role.
* Basic technology skills and experience using an iPad.
* Any aquaculture/ agriculture experience is highly desirable but not essential.
* Heavy Rigid Licence (desirable).
