The Golf Shop Attendant ensures the enjoyment and first-class experience of our members and guests, while maintaining policies, procedures and golf shop operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Opening and closing the Pro Shop, including nightly reporting and pass-along
2. Maintain Pro Shop cleanliness and tidiness at all times
3. Maintain displays and rotate merchandise on a regular basis to ensure a fresh look in the Pro Shop, sell Pro Shop merchandise
4. Attend to the Reservations line, book tee times and answer inquiries
5. Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
6. Perform all duties in accordance with daily procedures
7. Assist members/guests with questions and concerns
8. Stay in constant contact with the Outside Services team
9. Contribute to the coordination of all member and guest events and functions
10. Maintain communications book
11. Handle guest complaints in a friendly and professional manner, report complaints to the Head Golf Professional
12. Assist the Outside Services team when required
13. All other duties as assigned

GUEST SERVICE
Provides guest service to external contacts, guests who are golfing at Lora Bay golf course, as well as internal contacts, in coordinating activities of golf shop attendants.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills)
1. High school level English communication skills
2. Prior experience in golf or front desk operations an asset
3. Prior retail experience an asset
4. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY
No Supervision of the operations
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
1. Work under pressure
2. Work in a fast-paced environment
3. Inside and Outside in a variety of weather conditions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift 25 LBS
2. Long periods of standing on your feet
3. Must be willing to work morning shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays
