EOS Space Systems is an electro-optics technology developer and systems integration company, dealing primarily with leading edge Space Domain Awareness (SDA) systems and custom observatories in Australia and overseas.
EOS Space Systems develops complex opto-electronic systems with a range of electronic control and instrumentation sub-systems. Some examples of these are autonomous control systems with high speed and accuracy sensors, low-noise power supplies and timing systems for lasers and three phase motor positional controls.

About the Role Our Senior Electronics Engineer / Electronic Lead will :
Undertake management of the electronics team and contribute to planning and prioritising engineering tasks related to the ongoing and future projects; Organise operational maintenance / repair of existing assets; Heavily focus on IP capture / retention and actively work on enhancing the IP configuration management system; Actively participate in development of new capabilities; Undertake design, assembly, testing, maintenance, and documentation tasks as part of the electronics team. Duties will include :
Personnel management, mentoring, development and supervision. Electronics hardware and embedded firmware / software development. Provide support for integration, testing, debugging and maintenance of EOS products. Systems design in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Develop design documentation within the EOS Systems Engineering framework. About You We are looking for someone who can lead and effectively collaborate in a highly-paced multi-disciplinary engineering environment and is a problem solver with attention to detail. The one who is self-motivated and a forward thinker. A person should be able to demonstrate the following :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineer or related field 10+ years industry experience or equivalent 3+ years in lead engineering positions Experience in designing analogue and digital circuits Experience designing PCBs with Altium Designer and / or another PCB CAD package Be able to solve complex systems problems in collaboration with multiple disciplines Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) It is desirable but not essential if you also have any of the following :
