Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join our team. This individual will support the delivery of a variety of exciting projects. As a key member of their project management team, you will be instrumental in assisting with project planning, coordination, and execution, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the coordination and management of projects from the early planning phases to final completion. Support project managers with the day-to-day management of project timelines, budgets, and resources. Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and clients to ensure effective project delivery. Track project progress, identify risks, and report on key milestones and deadlines. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes. Monitor and enforce project quality standards and compliance with regulations. Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and address project issues promptly. Contribute to the development of project proposals, tender documents, and contracts. Support the project manager in managing project budgets and ensure costs are tracked and within budget limits. Participate in site visits and inspections as required. Key Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. At least 2 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role within the construction, engineering, or architectural industry. Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant industry regulations. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, Procore). Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards managing project timelines and deliverables. Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop professionally in project management. Knowledge of Sydney's local construction and engineering environment is a plus.
