It is a high-containment facility designed to allow scientific research into the most dangerous infectious agents in the world.As an Administration Officer with the ACDP, you will provide administrative, project and financial support services to the ACDP Research Director.
Working alongside the administrative support team within ACDP, you will undertake a range of tasks and project support activities.
Using a high level of discretion and confidentiality, you will bring initiative and an ability to manage and coordinate key relationships with various stakeholders and manage a range of diverse activities simultaneously.
For success in this role, you will be familiar with administrative procedures for project management and have the ability to work with various systems to assist in preparing complex milestone reports.Your duties will include:Administrative support to the Research DirectorGeneral administrative tasksRecord keeping and complianceCommunication – preparing reports, liaising with stakeholders, preparing written correspondence, etc.Diary Management, event and travel coordinationLocation: Geelong – Australian Centre for Disease Preparedness (ACDP), VictoriaSalary: AU $73k - AU $93k per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuationTenure: Term until 31st December 2027Reference: 99674To be considered you will need:Experience working in a complex, fast-paced research, academic or clinical environment.Highly developed administration skills, including advanced abilities in the use of Microsoft Office applications.Strong judgement and the ability to quickly learn new systems.Proofreading and writing skills, and the ability to effectively collate information from various sources.Highly developed time management and organisational skills.The ability to work co-operatively as a contributor to teams and to interact effectively with scientific and industry stakeholders.To see the full list of criteria for this role, please view the Position Details.EligibilityApplications for this position are open to Australian Citizens only.
