Our client is a long-standing real estate agency located in FUNKY & MODERN offices in the western suburbs. They are highly regarded within the real estate industry and they now have an opening for an experienced Trust Accountant to join their first-class team.
The Role:
Overall management of the company trust account for the Residential Property Team.
The key objectives of this role are to:
1. Entering daily trust account transactions, emailing relevant receipts.
2. Physical banking
3. Lodge bonds and manage bond disposals
4. Trust Account reconciliation
5. Bond reconciliation
6. Entering new properties and owners and advise authorities of management of properties
7. Disburse break lease creditor and reconcile
8. Advise owners if funds are required
9. Invoicing Tenant accounts
10. Owner, creditor, tenant and agency disbursements
11. Managing Owner landlord protection insurance
12. Manage owner funds on hold
13. Manage tenant deposits
14. Manage unidentified and unclaimed funds
15. Prepare for Audits
16. Liaise with owners, tenants and creditors on account queries.
The Candidate:
17. Previous experience in Trust Accounting in real estate
18. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
19. The ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
20. Excellent attention to detail & time management
21. Possess a strong work ethic & desire to be the best support network
