The role
This pivotal role is responsible for managing the complete purchase order lifecycle within SAP systems, ensuring alignment with inventory plans. You will handle direct and semi-indent customer orders, overseeing their accurate entry, shipment coordination, and seamless delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Creating and managing multi-business unit purchase orders for Australia and New Zealand in SAP systems.
* Coordinating inward shipping and ensuring the smooth local landing of goods for all incoming orders.
* Serving as the primary account contact for direct and semi-indent customer accounts.
* Utilizing your expertise in SAP for high-level system management.
* Leading and supporting the Customer Services Team to maintain excellent service standards and communication.
This position combines technical SAP proficiency with leadership and coordination to ensure exceptional operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About you
As the successful candidate, you have proven experience as a Purchasing Officer in an SAP environment. You're a confident and efficient SAP user with a strong understanding of how SAP integrates with other business functions. On top of this, you have proven people management skills and the ability to lead and support a team effectively.
