We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Advisor with construction experience to support a recently awarded project in Rockhampton.
About the Role Successful candidates will be responsible for providing SHEQ support services on site by preparing safety management plans, assisting and advising on site investigations, conducting SHEQ audits and assisting with inspections to ensure compliance with our Broad systems and legislative requirements.
As the successful candidate, you will need to be a self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organised, and committed to the highest possible work standards and safety. You will also have the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will require:
Experience within the construction industry (minimum of 2 years)Demonstrable experience of Safety Management System implementationProficiency in MS Office to produce accurate reports combined with exposure to in-house Health Safety Environment systems (e.g., Cintellate)Robust understanding of Commonwealth Construction Safety legislationSolid communication and management skills to lead, challenge, and improve safety practices on siteCulture and Benefits The successful candidate will be rewarded with the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects and ongoing professional development within a supportive and friendly team environment.
