About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist with various tasks in our Undergraduate Admissions department. As a Non-College Work-Study student, you will play a vital role in supporting our team and ensuring a smooth operation of our daily activities.
Responsibilities
* Perform opening and closing procedures and follow all UHD emergency protocols.
* Work 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
* Interact professionally with staff, faculty, and students, utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion of duties.
Requirements
* Be a current UHD student with a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and telephone etiquette skills.
* Have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Blackboard.
* Show ability to multitask and interact professionally with students, faculty, and staff.
