The Software Delivery Manager is a key role in the R&D Customer Software space and is responsible for ensuring consistent, sustained and regular delivery of high-quality applications within the R&D product portfolio. The role includes multiple responsibilities such as project management and scrum master activities in line with Cochlear's Product Improvement Process. The role will work closely with the squads across Customer Software, R&D Systems, Services, and Information Technology to ensure that the R&D Customer Software meets and exceeds the needs of the business and customer needs.
The Opportunity Cochlear has an opportunity for a full time Software Delivery Manager based in our Macquarie Sydney office. In this role, the successful Software Delivery Manager will be working with various stakeholders (spanning across R&D, IT, Services, Marketing and other groups across the organization) to ensure alignment, co-ordination, planning, release management and support activities.
Responsibilities include: Facilitate Feature delivery within our project parameters (scope, quality, timeline, budget, technical/tech debt) Lead a program of 3 to 4 teams to ensure that designs and plans are realistic, pragmatic, meet business and user needs and are of the highest quality. Coach and drive the adoption of Agile practices in the squad(s), so that the team continues to stay at the foreground of employing industry best practices and enforce project standards. Advise Product Trios (Product, Design, Engineering) on areas of unreasonable timeline & budget risk. Advise Product Trios when Feature delivery is forecasted to exceed project parameters (scope, quality, timeline, budget, technical/tech debt) Facilitate conflict resolution & risk management for Product Trios What makes this opportunity unique?
