We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a Payroll Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our payroll system (Aurion), optimizing payroll processes, and providing insightful business reporting. Your expertise will help streamline our payroll operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Implementation & Maintenance: Manage the Aurion payroll system, including system administration, upgrades, and enhancements. Ensure documentation and work instructions are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with the Payroll team and key stakeholders to develop practical and innovative solutions that enhance processes and add value. Focus on automating processes and expanding self-service options.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports using tools like Power BI and Aurion Query Tool. Provide supporting analysis and advice to inform business decisions.
- Establishment Maintenance: Maintain the Aurion establishment in collaboration with various business areas, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations.
- Payroll Operations: Undertake essential tasks related to payroll processing, including pay run processing, quarterly reporting, and year-end activities.
- Training & Development: Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance the effective use and operation of payroll systems for team members and stakeholders.
- Project Participation: Contribute to payroll system and process-related projects, ensuring successful implementation of new functionalities and compliance with business and legislative requirements.

About You:
- Experience in payroll system administration and process improvement, preferably with Aurion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in reporting tools like Power BI and experience in generating actionable insights from data.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
