Technical Analyst What's the opportunity? We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Technical Analyst to support and maintain Qudos Bank's information assets, both in the cloud and on-premises. In this role, you'll ensure operational resilience through key activities like system patching, asset management, disaster recovery testing, and security reviews. You'll play a crucial part in vulnerability remediation, compliance, and staff awareness programs. This role may require travel across Qudos Bank branches and occasional after-hours or weekend work to ensure the successful delivery of systems and support. What will I be doing? Log and track all IT tickets (incidents, requests, changes) in the Service Desk, ensuring timely resolutions and proper documentation. Provide infrastructure support and implementation for endpoints, servers, networking, and cloud systems. Ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and security-related issues while adhering to IT processes and procedures. Perform daily infrastructure and security checks, including patching, updates, and certificate renewals. Maintain and update documentation for systems, processes, and Service Desk knowledge base. Participate in Disaster Recovery testing and ensure business applications and infrastructure are fit-for-purpose. Facilitate IT asset reviews, updates, and monitor infrastructure performance, addressing issues or escalating as necessary. What you will bring: Previous 2nd level support experience. The ability to oversee IT Security and Compliance matters and manage the technical considerations and direction of both internal and external outsourced IT managed services. Prior experience performing security audits/tasks for Information systems ensuring applications are secure from threats and vulnerabilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the business are essential. What is it like to work with us?
