About The Role:
Provide high quality Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidance, support and advice to the Housing Portfolio and Delivery division with a whole-of-lifecycle approach to WHS applied to redevelopment projects across various project types within the clients Social Housing programs.
This will include:
1. Lead the implementation of WH&S management systems, and provide advice and assistance to the Housing Portfolio’s delivery for effective WHS risk management, including hazard identification, risk assessment and controls and the implementation of safe systems of work.
2. Conduct and/or facilitate regular audits of construction activities and document corrective measures for WHS processes and recommend improvement strategies.
3. Proactively monitor legislation and regulations and recommend appropriate improvements to delivery processes.
4. Provide the senior executive team, managers, employees and project teams with timely and accurate guidance and specialist advice on WHS matters, to ensure consistent application of Housing Portfolio’s WHS policies, procedures and guidelines and adherence to WHS legislation and Contracted obligation and specification requirements.
About the ideal candidate:
You will have worked in a similar role, and ideally have the following:
5. NSW Drivers license
6. Experience conducting WH&S audits on residential/commercial housing projects
7. Strong stakeholder management
