Prerequisites: The Drill Fitter must have minimum relevant qualifications & experience in servicing and maintaining hydraulic controlled drilling systems and heavy vehicles associated with the onshore drilling industry for a minimum of 10 years. Principal Function: To maintain, service and repair hydraulic & mechanical systems on truck and track mounted drill rigs as well as compressor and boosters and related support vehicles and accessories to the highest industry standards, in a safe, cost-effective manner, while complying with GeoDrill Drillings policies and procedures. Accountability: The Drill Fitter will be accountable for: Punctuality: Comply to all work start and end times.Compliance to all HSE policies and procedures; including Client HSE policies.Ensuring Pre-start checks and function checks operating equipment.Ensuring that adequate duty of care is exercised in all aspects of your work activities.Effective communication.Inventory control.Written Status Reports & Condition Inspections.To provide technical expertise to other GeoDrill Employees. Housekeeping: Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean, tidy & hazard free state.Maintaining work area and equipment in a clean hazard free condition.Disposing of rubbish in accordance with site requirements.Maintaining living quarters in a clean, hygienic condition.Ensuring the highest levels of personal hygiene at work.Salary: From $100,000 per year
