About the role
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Martin Burns Bedroom Furnishings in Bunbury, WA. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the success of our growing furniture store.
What you'll be doing
* Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment
* Restocking and replenishing merchandise as needed
* Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Collaborating with the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment
* The role will be Permanent Part Time alternating 29hrs one week and 33hrs the next week including weekend work.
* Sales experience is essential, but computer literacy is NOT required.
