They are seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineering Surveyor to join our dynamic team on a FIFO basis and contribute to the successful delivery of key projects. You will be responsible for performing accurate field surveys, interpreting engineering designs, and ensuring all project specifications and safety requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: Conduct field surveys to gather data on project sites, including measurements, elevations, and alignment checks. Interpret and apply engineering designs, construction plans, and specifications to ensure accurate survey results. Set up and calibrate survey equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS, and laser scanners) to perform site surveys efficiently. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and execution. Prepare and maintain detailed survey documentation, reports, and as-built drawings. Provide on-site supervision and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist with project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments where necessary. Troubleshoot any survey-related issues on-site and provide solutions in a timely manner. Candidate Criteria: Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Registered Surveyor) are highly desirable. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role working within the civil / mining industries in WA. Strong knowledge of survey equipment and techniques, including GPS, total stations, and other surveying technologies. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical specifications. Proficient in the use of survey software for data processing and reporting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and precision. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. A proactive approach to safety and a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements. Previous FIFO experience is highly regarded. Current driver’s license and ability to pass medical assessments for FIFO work. Full Australian working rights.
