This role has a broad remit of ensuring Santos' architectural patterns and principles for new projects and existing services meet the needs of the global Santos business. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring services and solutions are designed to optimise a secure, reliable, and standard way of delivering services to meet the requirements of the Santos business.You will manage a small team of Solution Architects to ensure a coordinated, planned delivery of strategy and roadmaps, overseeing the standardisation of patterns, products, and services delivered by the IS Operations function.Key Accountabilities:Design strategies, mitigate delivery risks and requirements with consideration of constraints, and manage appropriate exceptions, while retaining focus on delivering value for Santos.Deliver technology roadmaps for the IS Operations portfolio.Manage and influence great outcomes for Santos through 3rd party suppliers and vendors, translating that into clear proposals for delivery of Cloud platform and Infrastructure services.Provide a clear view of the technology direction and strategy for IS Operational services such as Infrastructure, Cloud, EUC, Network, and Service Management.Work closely with members of the IS Operations team and obtain feedback for improvement of global services consumed as standard for Infrastructure and Cloud Services across the regional locations in which Santos operates.Make strategic, enterprise decisions, providing the necessary subsequent documentation and controls for 3rd parties to execute support of the Santos Infrastructure, Network, and Information Systems operational service environment.Develop Santos team members via regular development and coaching, goal setting, and feedback for the Santos IS Operations Solution Architects team, ensuring a consistent, planned, and strategic approach to support Santos via its technology platforms.About YouTo be considered for this role, we are seeking professionals with strong IT Infrastructure Architecture experience. Ideally, you are an expert in the latest Cloud technologies (AWS and Azure), hold relevant degree qualifications and IT certifications. It is a requirement for the candidate to have strong experience and knowledge of Infrastructure principles and methodologies, e.g., TOGAF.It is essential that you have demonstrated skills and experience in:Experience using modern, enterprise applications and services within a large-scale technology change environment.Comprehensive experience of ITSM within a corporate environment, including experience standardising them across a global organisation.Experience in leading research and resolution of infrastructure-related issues.Experience in holding technical positions delivering infrastructure projects in storage, compute, networking, and backup.Experience with a large Infrastructure/application cloud migration project and management of infrastructure technologies.Extensive years of experience in leading a technical team, with the ability to lead technical discussions on workloads.Supporting a Diverse WorkforceSantos acknowledges that we operate on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people.
