The PracticeBairnsdale Medical Group are located within a modern purpose built practice which is home to a team of 14 doctors, 7 administrative and 6 nursing staff. This dedicated team ensure efficiency and care for the GP's and their patients. The clinic is also an accredited teaching practice and mentors training doctors.
The OpportunityWorking exclusively with Bairnsdale Medical Group, Johnson Recruitment now seeks an experienced Practice Manager who will deliver outcomes under the four pillars of:
Staff/OperationsFinance ManagementRisk & GovernancePractice Development & PromotionTaking over the reins from the previous Practice Manager who has worked tirelessly over a period of 20 years to help build and shape this very successful medical practice, the new Practice Manager will build upon an incredible foundation of success. With a fresh set of eyes, proven experience and a desire to build something truly exceptional, simple yet impactful changes will be embraced along with implementing a business strategy, marketing and keen finance management, all of which form key aspects of this multifaceted opportunity.
About YouEssential criteria for the successful candidate include prior Management experience with the ability to train and develop staff and step in and support your team in times of high work demand. Understanding practice finance is very important to ensure the practice remains in 'financial good health'. Management of the administrative functions of the clinic including scheduling, billing and record keeping; implementation of policies and procedures and collaborating with the Practice partners to strengthen and achieve goals are also essential areas of focus for this diverse role. Practice promotion via traditional marketing and social media channels will also be skills you bring to this role along with a tech confident approach to using software/technology in a swiftly advancing landscape. It will also be advantageous if you have Level 1 support experience (printers, PCs & networks).
You will ideally come from a Medical or Allied Health related background, however, those with strong management skills, financial & IT experience along with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
The OfferThis career advancing opportunity is offered on a permanent full-time basis and attracts a competitive annual salary commensurate with experience and qualifications of $100k - $115k p/a + Super and 5 weeks annual leave!!
