This is a great opportunity for multiple APS6 Project Officers to join this busy team for a long term 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
* Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework.
* Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.
* Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.
* Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports.
* Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation.
* Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assisting with procurement and contract management.
* Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits.
* Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
About you:
* You will have previous experience working in the property or construction sector
* You will have experience working within a Capital Projects environment
* Ideally you will have experience and understanding of working with Australian Government Procurement Guidelines
* You will have the ability to interpretate planning and design documentation
* You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels- internal and external.
* Ideally you will have a general understanding of construction processes and fit-out and terminology

* Full time hours Monday to Friday
* Brisbane, Geelong and Richmond + hybrid working from home options
* $60.26 per hour + Super
