About the role:
Our Bunbury Donor Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse with excellent customer-facing experience and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to our donors.
As a Registered Nurse, you will support our donors throughout their donation process while working collaboratively to achieve collection targets.
A typical day in the centre could involve:
* Greeting and interviewing potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate.
* Completing routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
* Setting up machines, tubing, and collection bags.
* Inserting and removing needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
* Providing clinical oversight and guiding other team members in the blood collection process.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
* Occasional lifting of up to 22.7kgs.
* Frequent standing, walking, and bending to set up and pack down machines and blood products.
* The ability to use your nursing expertise and hold current AHPRA registration.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Friday.
